The Sadeq Family Tree

عائلة الصادق وأقرباؤهم

Names, branches and stories connecting our family across generations.

A family project across generations.

The work on our family tree began in 1990 at the home of the late Khalid Ahmad Sadiq in Kuwait during our regular Eid family gathering.

His son, the late Mazin Khalid Sadiq, continued the work and brought it online in 2007 from Dubai, with help from members of the extended family.

By 2013, the online family tree included 1,987 names together with family stories, photographs and genealogy records.

Names and spellings

Our family name appears in English in several forms, including Sadeq, Sadiq, Sadek and El-Sadek. This website uses “Sadeq.”

Family stories

More than names.

The family tree also carries stories about our origins, Dayr al-Qasi, village life, family memories and songs remembered from the village. The aim has always been to keep names connected to the lives and places behind them.
