The Sadeq family
A virtual home for the Sadeq family.
The Sadeq family is rooted in Dayr al-Qasi, a village in northern Palestine. In 1948, our family, along with the other families of the village, was forced to leave. They left believing they would return. Today, generations of the Sadeq family live across countries and continents around the world.
But wherever we have made our homes, our roots remain in Dayr al-Qasi. Our family was scattered by displacement, not by choice, and the distance between us and our village does not change where we come from. Dayr al-Qasi is not only part of our past. It is home — and we carry the hope that one day our family will be able to return.
Sadeq.net is our family’s virtual home — a place to preserve our history, share our stories and photographs, remember those who came before us, and keep generations of the Sadeq family connected. Dayr al-Qasi remains at the heart of that story.
